The website uses Supabase for authentication. Supabase client authentication may store session information in browser storage so that logged-in users can remain signed in and the website can check access to protected pages.

This storage is necessary for account login, role checks, and authenticated website features.

The Steam linking flow uses a short-lived HTTP-only cookie. It helps match the browser session that began Steam authentication with the Steam callback returned by Steam.

This cookie is used only for the Steam linking process, is not available to client-side JavaScript, and is configured with SameSite protection.

Hosting, security, or proxy providers may use technical storage or security cookies where necessary to deliver the website, prevent abuse, route traffic, or protect against attacks.

The current repository review did not find a dedicated non-essential preference storage system such as theme preferences or optional tracking preferences.

No Google Analytics, Plausible, PostHog, advertising tracker, or similar optional analytics script was in use at the time of making this policy.
